Complications stack. For example, if your character has tattos AND is heavily scarred and you want a sketch portrait, the price will be $12 (base price) + $4 (for tattoos) +$4 (for scars), $20 in total
Alt-versions will cost $1-$20 depending on complexity (but i do usually end up providing a bunch of alts for free because i can never decide what i like more)
